LANDSCAPING: SPRING COLORS ARE ON THEIR WAY FOR MAY
The last week in April, Gräs Landscaping seeded and sprayed our turf areas. This was much needed!
Coming in May, we will see the common areas come alive with Spring Colors.
Like mulching, if a flowerbed looks maintained or designed by the homeowner, Gräs will not be adding fall colors. Some homes may get flowers, others may not. This design schema seems to be at the landscapers’ discretion to highlight the beauty of The Cobblestones, however, our foreman has been very very receptive to our suggestions and more than accommodating.
CLEANUP:
Our Spring Cleanup that was held on Saturday Morning, April 27th was a HUGE SUCCESS. Neighbors got rid of 6 tons of unwanted items; so much that a truck had to empty and return. We collected $224 in tip money for the hard working 1-800-Got-Junk employees. The workers, I should add, were extremely impressed with you and our community.
It was wonderful seeing you all out, getting your homes ready for warm weather season, cleaning out patio areas, tending to your flower beds, and getting to know one another a little bit more.
PAINTING : PHASE 1 COMPLETE
Robert and his team from Trashmates did a stellar and thorough job on A and B row fronts on Mermaid. Area residents continue to comment amongst themselves as the walk by and we are working with them on planning Phase 2 to start soon. As proposed, Phase 2 will include the completion of E row fronts (living room side), F12 side, and all sides of H row, however in regards to H row, stucco inspection will need to take place before we can commit to H row back (Kitchen side)
This is a reminder to all: No one is permitted to install equipment or drill into the stucco without an ARC form and permission from the Board. Fines could apply to a unit if an inspection shows improper installations could cause water intrusion or stucco failure. Fines will be used by the Association to repair the damage. Work performed by Verizon and Comcast, are exempt from this requirement. Mailboxes are also an exception to the rule but we strongly suggest applying caulk into the drill holes before screwing into the stucco to create a solid moisture barrier.
